Shaimaa serves as the Deputy Head of the KNPC Innovation Committee and is a contributing member in several Kuwait Oil Sector level committees related to progression of R&D and Technology Management activity across the organization.

Dr. Tamer Mohamed Khalil Salem is currently working as a laboratory scientist in Ras Tanura laboratory division at SAUDI ARAMCO.

Dr. Tamer has obtained his Ph.D. from Cairo University, Egypt in organic chemistry- lubricant oil additives.

Dr. Tamer has 24 years of working experience in oil and gas industry. During his career, he started to work as a chemist (1999) before becoming manager in gas laboratory (2011) in Suez Oil Processing Company in Egypt. He was responsible for supervising the analysis of all types of hydrocarbon gas mixtures, and reviewing all the analysis results. He Joined Saudi Aramco as a laboratory scientist in 2015, his duties include the execution of all elements in the quality system and ensure effective implementation of ISO 17025 and 45001. He delivered many training courses related to crude oil and its products analysis, gas chromatography, water analysis, and LIMS for laboratory chemists and technicians in Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

Dr. Tamer’s research has been published in many scientific journals like Journal of polymer research. Also, he has presented his work in international conferences like international conference and exhibition on laboratory technology (LabTech, 2017 in Kingdom of Bahrain). 

Oversees the operation and maintenance of ADNOC Refinery laboratory facilities. Provides advice on laboratory setup or design, equipment acquisition, laboratory operation and monitoring, and maintenance.
