Bassam Al-Shammari completed his graduation in Computer Engineer from Kuwait University, with an MBA from Maastricht University. In a career spanning over 22 years in oil and gas Team Leader. Bassam Al-Shammari has worked in various areas of IT including telecommunication, infrastructure, networking and computer applications as Team Leader.

Corporate Applications, he had the opportunity to develop and maintain several applications that delve in the administrative and refining aspects of KNPC. He is the Head of KNPC IT/OT Technical Transformation Team, Head of the KNPC Innovation Committee and Member of the K-4.0 Technical Team for the IT/OT Integration initiative from the KPC IT 2040 strategy.

He have worked in various capacities such as SME in control solutions, Automation support engineer, project manager, CPDEP champion, trainer.
