Merox™ Process – Extraction and Sweetening
OVERVIEW
This course provides the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to efficiently and safely operate UOP Merox units. Led by experienced UOP process specialists, the course covers process flow and equipment, unit operation, analytical procedures, maintenance procedures, and safety. To ensure the practical application of knowledge, discussion includes normal operations, startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting. Classroom lectures are combined with hands-on field exercises and question-and-answer time to allow participants to share operating problems they’ve encountered and discuss solutions.

MEET YOUR TRAINER
Sanjay Singh is a Technology Specialist in the UOP Treating Technical Services Group with total 11 years of experience in Oil and Gas field, who has been with Honeywell UOP for over 6+ years based out of UOP Delhi office and supports the customers with Merox units in Middle East and Asia Pacific regions. His responsibilities include evaluating the commercial operations, through remote monitoring or on-site troubleshooting, of UOP Merox units to assist customers achieving their goals. Prior to UOP, Sanjay worked for Reliance Industries Ltd as Operation/Technical Services Engineer in the Naphtha Cracker Unit for 4 years. Sanjay holds bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and is a Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Sanjay enjoys travelling and reading books.
