Dhanasekar Periyasamy is a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from Madras University. He has more than 16 years of experience in the Refining and Process Modeling. Dhanasekar has worked in various roles as Shift Engineer, Panel Engineer and Process Engineer at one of the largest grass-root Refineries. He then worked as a consultant for Process Modeling and then lead a team of consultants in several Process optimization, LP update for Planning models and site-wide real time energy optimization projects. Currently, he is working as a Sr. Principal Solution Consultant for Engineering suite of products at Aspen Technology covering Middle East and North Africa region.
